The problem is that this clarity that they feel is only for a while, and they can just as easily become agressive and violent in an instant.

These children can even display unpredictable and violent behavior even in time before they get to school. Toddlers may display sudden bursts of aggression inflicted to others and even themselves.

Bipolar children can seem overly exitable at times, then suddenly slump down in a lethargic state. Another sign of a bipolar child is if if they have a very poor short-term memory. This short-term memory suggest the fast rate of shifting in the child's brain activity.

A link that has been found with bipolar children is that many of them have allergies. If seems as though these increased times of irritation may cause the child to feel emotions more extremely than with other kids. With cases that the allergies are physically glaring, the constant bullying and teasing may give the child more stress.

When a child is diagnosed with bipolar disorder, this is no simple task. It is done precisely because a normal child diagnosed with this disorder will be treated with the medication needed to treat it. This medication may push the child over the edge.
